Bhandardara

is a beautiful yet less known hill station near Mumbai in Sahyadri hill range of Maharashtra state. Bhandardara is a perfect getaway from the crowded streets of Mumbai. It guarantees a quality time to be alone or with your friends and family. It is known for the chilly evenings, but for the sky full of stars!

Camping is an experience everyone must try at least once. For first-timers, this is just the perfect beginning!

Day 1: Mumbai to Bhandardara

1. We board CSTM-Kasara Train from your respective stations (Please ensure you arrive before time and don't miss this train)

o Ghatkopar - 12.10
o Mulund - 12.22
o Thane - 12.26
2. We reach Kasara Railway station by 2:00 PM
3. We hop into our shared jeep to move towards Bhandardara
4. We will halt for lunch on our way to the camping site
5. Enjoy the welcome drink on arrival
6. Move into your allocated tents and explore the beauty of Bhandardara Lake and its surrounding mountains
7. Post sunset, the real fun begins. The barbeque and bonfire is set at around 8 PM followed by dinner at around 9 PM
8. Enjoy singing, dancing, and stargazing throughout the night.
9. Bhandardara is an ideal place for Stargazing and is the key attraction! On clear sky days, be sure to find shooting stars, constellations and even planets.
10. Being a hill station, the temperature drops down to around 10°C. Nights can be chilling and hence you are advised to carry woollen jackets and a warm blanket for the night
